We have had a very productive day! We had a couple experienced tile guys here to get the wood-look tile laid.
Scott & Diane (experienced tile layers in their own right!) finished up the south side of the kitchen.
Tom is laying the less expensive tile that will be hidden by the cabinets.
Then we got a visit from Ted & Darla with Northwest Stair & Rail! Could this day get any better?? I now have a GORGEOUS railing on the stairs and upper hallway. After some discussion via text about the differences between chocolate brown and espresso brown and the merits of both, I left the final choice up to Darla and she couldn't have chosen better! It's a cross between espresso brown and a bronze. It is flippin' perfect.
My cheeks hurt from smiling...
