Tile started
I went out this morning and removed the spacers and wiped all the tile down to clean off any excess thinset.

Thin set
While I could look at pictures of the outlets installed in my home all day, I am told that not everyone shares my feelings. But then I get CHASTISED for not POSTING. So here is our latest Lowes purchase. 18 bags of thin-set for laying ALL THAT TILE.
This is the tile for the Laundry room:
And, of course, the majority of the downstairs will be this:
Tile started...Finally!
It's been a rough weekend around here. Our Titan was hit by a car early Saturday morning. He was an amazing part of our family and is sorely missed.
We have learned through this house building project that when you are doing most of the work yourselves, it takes much, much longer than if you pay the pros but the reward of seeing what we are accomplishing is worth it. This is all the tile we got laid during the majority of the day. Hailey helped, also. It's bound to go quicker as we get into a rhythm. There's still SO MUCH more to do...

Two for two!
A shout out to Tyler at Sherwin Williams in Smokey Point! He has come through, despite my doubts, with both colors in my craftroom. I now love them! Now I want the paint to hurry up and dry so I can install the stained glass wall sconce I picked up on CL about *cough* 5 years ago *cough*...

More painting
Well, I thought we had painted the bathroom in the craftroom white but in the light of day, we only painted the ceiling... So I went to visit my buddy, Tyler, at Sherwin Williams today and got a few shades lighter than the Exclusive Plum he had suggested for the accent wall in the craftroom.

Outlets, second round
The only thing more fun than installing outlets in your new home is uninstalling those outlets and installing different ones! Tom thought he'd save a couple bucks by getting the slightly cheaper round outlets and covers.
Unfortunately, they did not mesh aesthetically with the decora light switches. I couldn't live with that so I'm switching them all out. I'm about 95% done.
